A five-day workshop—September 28 through October 2—at the University of Maryland, presented by the Joint Center for Quantum Information and Computer Science.

WHAT: A five-day workshop at the University of Maryland that brings together leading experts from around the world to share and discuss recent advances at the frontiers of quantum information and computer science. The Joint Center for Quantum Information and Computer Science (QuICS) is hosting this workshop to explore the fundamental properties of information in a quantum world and to apply this knowledge throughout science and technology. The workshop overlaps with the QuICS long-term visitor program of Fall 2015. Participation includes, but is not limited to, the visiting scientists in this program.
